A Brief History
Shows Steel is a continuation of a metal building company—Shows Enterprises, Inc., and Webb Construction established in 1969, in Soso, Mississippi by Kimble Shows and Jack Webb.
Kelby Shows and Kasey Shows—current co-owners of Shows Steel, worked side by side with their father and Webb for nearly 20 years. The brothers took over after the retirement of their father and Webb with the knowledge of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings that most companies never achieve. Their father instilled a hard work ethic, job pride and safety focus.
In 2014, the Shows brothers started their own company, Shows Steel LLC in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Kelby and Kasey work side by side with their employees on projects to ensure the job is done right. Although the brothers generally oversee different distinct projects and business aspects, they have developed a working relationship that upholds the company’s reputation as a industry leader.
Between the combined companies, they have erected metal buildings from California to Maine for more than 50 years while maintaining an excellent safety record. They give their customers completed projects that add value and are on schedule, safe and professionally executed.

Kelby L. Shows
Co-Owner & CEO
Kelby is focused on leading Shows Steel’s business development, contract bidding and award negotiations process. He leverages his industry knowledge, experience and relationships to ensure the company has numerous, profitable opportunities to bid on preferred projects. Kelby’s unique ability to analyze a project beforehand combined with his knowledge of proven construction methodologies, allows Shows Steel to be competitive in the bidding process—seldom the lowest, but always the best value.

Kasey M. Shows
Co-Owner & Superintendent
Kasey’s primary responsibility is overseeing every aspect of the job site from construction to completion. His hands-on daily approach to his duties ensures that Shows Steel has a strong team with construction knowledge and experience to safely operate, inspect and maintain equipment.

Larry D. Jones
Chief Financial Officer
Larry leads the accounting and finance staff to provide accurate and timely financial reports, cash management and job cost information analysis. He is focused on establishing consistent internal controls and processes for Shows Steel and developing a reporting process that provides historical and prospective financial information. Larry’s attention to trends in job performance data and their patterns allows Shows Steel to do what they do best—erect large pre-engineered metal buildings for companies across the United States.

Misti Fruge
Office Manager & Assistant to the CEO
Misti manages the day-to-day activities within the main Shows Steel office in Lake Charles. She serves as the liaison between our main office and our job sites across the United States. Through her experience and approachable personality, everyone knows there is always someone to help. Misti is critical to making Shows Steel a great place to work.

Communications, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Human Resources, Compliance and Administrative Support
Kaylynn vincent
Office Assistant & Scheduler
Kaylynn maintains project timelines for employees, contractors, suppliers and customers. Using her strong communication skills, she communicates special situations or instructions and informs management when exceptions or problems arise. Kaylynn works as a team player to support the mutual goals and objectives of Shows Steel.
